About me:
I am currently a Software Engineer on the Windows Empower team at Microsoft, where I work on improving the user experience of Narrator, the built-in screen reader in Windows, with M365 apps.
If you’re on a Windows laptop, you can try Narrator by pressing Ctrl + Windows + Enter to turn it on or off. I’d love to hear your feedback — and if you’re interested in learning Narrator fundamentals, feel free to get in touch!
Previously, I was a research fellow at Microsoft Research India, where I worked with Dr. Manohar Swaminathan and Dr. Mohit Jain. My research interests lie at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and accessibility.
At Microsoft Research, I co-designed, developed, and evaluated accessible technologies that enable learning through play with teachers and children with visual impairments and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. I also published and presented a few research papers, which was an incredibly rewarding and fun experience.
